Bring the outside in with our Woven-Wood Roman Shades. Unlike flat, lifeless synthetics, these shades are handcrafted from natural grasses, reeds, and bamboo—each roll uniquely textured. They soften harsh light, add warmth, and create an organic focal point for any room.

Woven wood refers to any shade made from renewable botanical materials. Our collection features four primary weaves:

  • Bamboo: Clean lines and uniform slats for a polished, modern look

  • Jute: Coarse, earthy texture with visible fibers; ideal for rustic or bohemian spaces

  • Grasses (Tiger/Sea Grass): Fine, tight weave with subtle color variation; naturally stain-resistant

  • Ramie Blends: Soft, linen-like drape with superior moisture control

How They Perform

  • Light Control: Lowered fully, the weave diffuses glare into a soft glow. Raise completely for an unobstructed view, or stop at mid-height for privacy without darkness. Optional privacy liners (light-filtering or room-darkening) are available.

  • Durability: Natural grasses resist everyday wear. Many options include a clear, UV-resistant coating to prevent fading.

  • Eco-Credentials: Sustainably harvested, biodegradable, and often crafted using traditional hand-weaving techniques that support fair labor.
